Stress. It’s like a shadow, always lurking, sometimes you don’t even know it’s there until it starts making things fall apart. Now, a little stress is fine, it helps us with being able to get things done or acts as a warning when we’re working too hard. But when it gets too much, it becomes a nightmare that’s hard to get rid of. Stress doesn’t show up the same for everyone, sometimes it’s that thing that keeps you up at night, or that pestering thought in the back of your head that something is wrong with you. Some of us procrastinate, diving into everything except the one thing you should be doing. Stress isn’t just in your head; it messes with your body too, low energy, random aches and pains, chronic pain, hair loss, gut issues, skin problems, weight swings, allergies, addictions, depression, anxiety... all of it tied to stress. You’ve probably tried everything out there. And maybe it still doesn’t feel like enough. But I have something for you that may just be the thing that has been missing in your battle with stress.
If you’re reading this, you’ve already made the first move. You’re ready to break the cycle.
When we are born, we are a blank slate until we learn things from our environment. We form our thoughts and behavior patterns from all the experiences we have and from the people around us. There’s no wrong behavior, there is only learned behavior. That saying “it runs in the family” or “it’s genetic” can be true but it doesn’t have to keep running in the family. You have the power to change all of it for the better. With NET we can get to the source of those behaviors, bring awareness and understanding, and give ourselves the ability to choose something different.
Pain is the breaking of the shell that encloses our understanding.
I grew up in a dysfunctional family, learning dysfunctional models. But I saw how things could be from other couples and families. I yearned for better, but I couldn’t figure out how. Hours and Hours of counseling helped but I wanted more, I needed things to change faster so I could have more peace in my life. Everything changed when I was given NET, so I made a career change. And then the doors flew wide open when I added nutrition and relationship coaching.
For lack of better words, I feel I can truly live now.
Spiritually, I am Christian. I believe in whole body healing. I am a Certified NET (Neuro Emotional Tech) provider, Certified Nutrition Coach through Precision Nutrition, Certified Relationship Coach and I am in my last semester of Grad School at Touro University Worldwide working to become a licensed therapist.
My Approach
My approach to healing? Whole person. Mind, body, soul. If something’s going on with your body, it’s affecting your mind. If your mind’s out of whack, it shows up in your body. That’s how I approach my own health, and I wouldn’t suggest anything I haven’t tried myself. I mix Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with coaching for a practical, proactive approach. What’s the difference between therapy and coaching? Labels. Therapy is for processing and understanding; coaching is for taking action. NET is my secret weapon, and I’m all in on it, but it’s not mandatory. At the end of the day, it’s your journey. My goal? Helping you get to the life you actually want to live, whether I’m a part of it or not.
What is NET?
NET is all about finding and crushing the mental and physical stress patterns that are holding you back. It uses muscle testing to identify the root causes of your stress, then helps you rewrite those patterns with precision and speed. Muscle testing? It’s simple: One person holds out their arm while the other applies pressure above their wrist. The person holding their arm resists, and either their arm stays strong or it goes weak. "NET is a gentle, powerful way to release emotional baggage by addressing both the mind and body’s response to unresolved trauma."
